September 2007 Meeting Minutes

Secretary's Report 3-17-08 The meeting was called to order at 7:16pm by President Kyle G. The pledges were led by Haley R. The Secretary's Repot was motioned by first Kelly B. and second motion to accept was Becky B. The Treasures report was motion by first Kendra B. and second motion to accept was Haley R. Everybody needs to continue to do you 4-H Bucks. The 4-H banquet recognized most of our members. The club decided that our new meeting date is the second Tuesday of every month. First motion to accept was Haley R. and the second motion to accept was Taylor C. Horse Health Day everybody who worked will receive $5 4-H bucks. Does anybody want to do Hippo logy? The club will be taking a field trip to Keeneland Race Track on Sunday April 13. The horse judging clinic will be held on April 19 at the Campbell Co Extension office. The Horse Eligibility Forms were sent out if you are planning on doing district & state you need to send those to Kathy. The meeting was adjourned at 8:05. First motion to accept was Becky B. and second motion to accept was Taylor C. We had a guest speaker Rachel Gosney who talked about Conformation on a horse and Keenland Race Track. Secretary’s Report 2-19-08 The meeting was called to order at 7:11 by President Kyle G. The pledges were led by Haley R. Dr. Grinstead could not attend the meeting. He was supposed to put on a Immunization & Parasites Power Point. The Secretary's report was motioned by first Kendra B. and second motion to accept was Becky B. The Treasures Report was motioned by first Kelly B. and second motion the accept. Update the revised 4-H member list info sheet. The 4-H council needs members. Ryder M. said he would be a Teen Rep. The 4-H Banquet date was changed from March 14 @ the PC Extension Office. The fair 4-H Horse Show the club decided to not participate. We have received the 5 free DVD’S and we all signed a thank you card for those. 4-H judging clinic, the clinic was on April 9. Horse Eligibility forms and horse camp. If you are going to district and state we need to be looking for the paper and fill them out before the deadline. Also if you would like to be going to horse camp the forms will be out soon. Fun Show is set for April 20 and a rain date has been set for April 27. Field Trips have been set. May KY Horse park and Haggard and Magee Vet Clinic and June 10 and 11 State Horse Contests. Horse Health Day flyers were sent out and you needed to hang those up. Submitted by Haley R Secretary of the Butler Bucking Broncos 4-H Club Secretary’s Report 1-21-08 The meeting was called to order at 7:15 by president Kyle G. The pledges were led by Ryder M. The secretary was motioned by first Ryder M. and second Taylor C. The treasures report was motioned by first Kendra B. and second Taylor C. The speech and demonstration workshop was 1-22. 4-H council needs members, if you are interested get a list of names. the 4-H banquet was changed from 3-15 to Friday March 14 at 7 pm at the Extension Office. We will be receiving 5 free AQHA DVD”s and we placed an order for 6 more DVD’s and Ryder M. made a motion that the club would pay for the DVD’s and Ronica H. seconded the motion. JoLynn passed out a bounce of Educational Materials, telling us a lot of interesting facts about the horse. If you are interested in doing Hippology or Horse Judging this will help you learn about the horse. The club decided that we would not add any more class to the fair and youth fun show. Secretary-Butler Bucking Broncos Horse Club Secretary’s Report The meeting was called to order at 7:06pm. Ryder M. led the pledges. The Secretary’s report was motioned by first Kyle G. seconded by Ryder M. The treasures report was motioned by first Haley R. and seconded by Adam M. The club sweatshirts came in. The color on the sweatshirts were brown instead of red. Kelly B. made a motion to accept the color of the sweatshirts and Ryder M. seconded the motion. Don’t forget to do your fun packets!!! We decided that the club would take a field trip to Keenland, first motion to accept was Adam M. and seconded by Haley R. The Club Christmas Party had to be changed from December 21 to December 14, due to the conflict of the PCHS Homecoming. We, as a club, met one day and baked for the Ambulance center, 911 Center and many more. We elected new officers President Kyle G., Vice President Ryder M., Secretary Haley R., Treasure Becky B., Reporter Kendra B. We decided that Tuesday would be our new day for meetings. First motion to accept was Haley R. and Ryder M. seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:51pm first motion to accept was Adam M. and Ryder was the second motion to accept. Secretary-Butler Bucking Broncos 4-H Horse Club Secretary’s Report Meeting Of 11-17-2007 The Butler Bucking Broncos meet in the Northern Elementary parking lot for our meeting before we departed for Pegasus. The Butler Bucking Broncos decided that the club would pay for the hoodies or sweatshirts. We didn’t have enough orders to receive the min order of 20. Ryder M. made a motion that the club would pay for the sweatshirts and Kyle G. seconded that motion. We still need a couple of the families picture release forms. Also we still need a couple of 4-H info sheets and enrollment sheet. Don’t forget to do your fun packets. Our field trip to Pegasus was interesting. Our club Christmas Party was moved to December 14 because our High School’s Homecoming was the same day. We also decided that instead of doing toys for tots we were going to adopt a family instead. Secretary Report Meeting Of 10/17/07 The meeting was called to order at 7:12pm by president Erin R. at Rhonda H. house. The pledges were led by Ryder M. The Secretary’s Report was motioned by first Ryder M. and then seconded by Adam M. The Treasure's Report was motioned by first Haley R. and seconded by Ryder M. If you wanted to order any other shirts the order had to be turned in by the last meeting. As a club we voted that you would pay for any other shirts yourself. The first motion to accept was Ronica H. and Taylor C. seconded that motion. We voted to pay Becky H. 30 dollars for the school web site program. Did everybody sign a name/picture release form? Did you also update you 4-H members info sheet and the enrollment sheet? We wanted to thank everybody who helped work the Wool Fest, Thanks. We started to plan the upcoming year. We decided that we could go to Becky’s to make holiday crafts. First motion to accept was Haley R. and Easton C. seconded that motion. Also that we as a club would work Horse Health Day and the first motion to accept was Ryder M. and Easton C. seconded that motion. The Halloween Fun Show was canceled because only 2 or 3 members could show up, but will be rescheduled later on in April. You can bring can goods to the field trip that we will give to the homeless. Around Christmas we will be doing Toys for Tots. First motion to accept was Haley R. and Taylor C. seconded. We will be having a Christmas Party. Start thinking of snacks and games that we could play as a group. Don’t forget to do your fun packets to turn into your leader and get clover bucks that can be turned in later for a WalMart gift card or cash. Our January field trip will be to go to Haygards and Old Friends on a Saturday. The next time the club will meet will be 11/17/07 and we will be going on a field trip to Pegasus and you will need to be at Northern Elementary at 11:30am and we will be leaving by noon. The meeting was called to order at 7:37pm by President Erin Rust. The Secretary’s Report was motioned by first Ryder M. and second Ronica H. The Treasurer’s Report was motioned by first Ryder M. and second Kelly B. If you would like to order any more T-Shirts or Hooded Sweatshirts, the order needs to be turned in at the next meeting. The club voted to pay Becky 30 dollars for the web-site. For the next meeting you need to update 4-H info shee[1]t and enrollment form. We stated planing the up coming year. You can finish you fun packet and turn it into your leader and you will receive 4-H Clover Bucks and turn in for Wal-Mart gift card or cash. We voted to have fun show. The first motion to except was Kelly B, and second Kyle G. After the meeting we worked on our Achievement #1 book on Individual and Group Test 5 & 7. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55. The secretary’s report was read by Rhonda H. First motion to accept was Haley R. and second motion to accept was Kyle G. The treasures report was read by Kyle G. First motion to accept was Alexa B. and second motion to accept was Emily M. Everybody was happy about how our T-shirts turned out. We had five club members go to the Boone Co. horse camp and they enjoyed it. Our club web-site is up and running, again thanks to Becky and Rhonda H. I made a motion that the club would reimburse Becky for the web-site and Kyle G. seconded the motion. We as a club can order more T-Shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies as desired. June 2007 Minutes On June 14, 2007 the monthly meeting of the Broncos was called to order at 7 pm. The first order of business was the appointment of a new club leader. After extensive discussion, JoLynn Gosney was appointed new leader of the club. Club t-shirts have been ordered and are being checked on by a parent volunteer. Ribbons from the state horse contests were given to the club members who won at state. Additional information was given to those members who were attending horse camp. Due to time constraints, several items of business were delayed until next meeting.
